Hi, my name is Kate I am based in Melbourne, Australia. I am lucky enough to be a stay at home Mum and look after my two adorable children. Ethan is 3yrs and Indi is about to turn 1.
I love being a Mum, I never knew it could be so rewarding.
I started my blog in because I didn’t want my brain to turn to baby brain. I wanted to be able to still talk and keep in touch with other adults who I could share my new experience with. I have met some amazing mothers since I started this blog. One very special friend I met through my blog was Julie who lives in London. She had her second child around the same time I had Ethan, she was my savior. I didn’t grow up around many babies, so was flying blind when Ethan arrived. It was great to be able to contact Julie when I had concerns about Ethan’s eating and sleeping pattens. Having someone to ask, to re-confirm I was doing everything right with my baby meant everything to me. Now that I have had 3 years experience of being a Mother, I hope I can help my new readers the same way Julie helped me.
While my days with the kids are full of playing, swimming lessons, visiting the local park, afternoon naps, and the general house keeping duties most women face when having a husband and family, I still try to blog every couple days to keep in touch with my online readers, so we can share our stories together.
